Last week one of my friends was talking about her self care activities. A common occurrence between us as she is clearly sent by the universe to teach me a lesson and despite the worlds every intention of stepping in the way I am actually learning this lesson from her. Mindfulness activities are working into my life and my mental health is benefiting from it.
When I was inspired to write this post I sent her a message asking if you wanted to help me brainstorm and well she was a literal gold mine of ideas for mindfulness activities. After quite a long time of living the dream of taking care of herself, working daily magic, and even traveling to Costa Rica. She can be quite inspiring.

Mindfulness is being conscious and aware. Mindfulness is the state where you are present and in the moment. It can be a great relief to practice mindfulness when life is stressful to give your mind a moment to escape the stress and rest. Mindfulness is a powerful therapeutic technique and a great way to cope with anxiety.
