To fit som many herbs into one book he was limited on how much information he could put for each one. The magical uses for lavender are limited in the book but so very vast.

Wear lavender essential oil, bathe with lavender soap, or place sachets of lavender in your clothing drawers to lure love to you. If you already have love, lavender is a great way to calm and diffuse marital discord to help keep love strong and happy.

Protection

To aid in protection in your home hang sachets of dried lavender or bunches of dried or fresh lavender at each of the 4 corners of your home. For good measure, you can opt to hang them in each room.

Smelling lavender each day is said to aid in longevity. This makes sense because of lavender innate ability to reduce stress levels which can lead to a healthier, happier life.
