Navigating the Challenges of Mercury Retrograde: Tips and Tricks for Staying on Track

Mercury retrograde is one of those things you may have noticed the effects of without knowing that something is going on. After learning about mercury retrograde when things go weird its easier to understand why and to see a light at the end of the tunnel for dealing with the situation.

This current mercury retrograde is a bit crazy for my family. It started on my late father’s birthday and ending on my and my sister’s birthday on the 18th. Surprisingly we have been doing well with only some minor electronic issues. Much better than the last when both my husband and I needed new phones.

What is Mercury Retrograde?

Mercury retrograde is a phenomenon that occurs when the planet Mercury appears to be moving backwards in its orbit as observed from Earth.

This occurs about three times a year for about three weeks at a time. During this time, people often attribute strange occurrences, such as communication breakdowns and technical difficulties, to the effect of Mercury being in retrograde.

It is important to note that this is an optical illusion caused by the relative positions of Mercury, Earth, and the Sun, and that Mercury’s orbit is not actually changing direction.

What areas of life does mercury retrograde effect

Mercury is associated with communication, transportation, and various forms of technology. When Mercury is in retrograde, it is said to bring challenges to these areas of life.

For example, during this time, people may experience miscommunications, delays, and breakdowns in transportation and problems with technology or mechanical equipment. Mercury retrograde can also bring delays in decision-making, processing paperwork, and signing of contracts or agreements because it may not seem clear or communication errors might happen.

How can I stay on track during Mercury Retrograde?

Here are a few things you can do to stay on track during Mercury Retrograde:

Review and double-check important documents and agreements before signing them. If you can avoid contracts at all during this time do so.

Try to avoid starting new projects or making major decisions that could affect you for the long run.

Be extra patient and understanding when dealing with delays and miscommunications. If you and your partner are struggling give each other some space and wait things out before making a move.

Revisit old projects and relationships that may need attention but be careful about making final decisions.

Back up all important data and files on your computer or devices so if something goes wrong you have less to stress about.

Allow extra time for your travel and schedule. This will help prevent you from having issues with being late if something doesnt go as planned. Having an emergency kit in your car is also a great idea.

Keep yourself grounded and centered by meditating or exercising.

I like to burn black candles during mercury retrograde to help keep the energy of my space grounded, protected, and clear of negativity. This tends to help bring some devices that are struggling back to life as well.
